AVP, Integration Development
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent
The AVP, Integration Development will contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by maintaining, designing and developing integrations with applications that contribute to the solution of business problems and needs. The incumbent is considered to be an experienced integrations developer with advanced integration design skills. The major emphasis of this position is to define and lead application integration projects, provide support for existing integrations and mentor less experienced team members.
Principle Activities and Duties: • Provides technical leadership and direction to the team to ensure project expectations are met. • Attends project meetings and delegate tasks as necessary to the project team. • Designs and code new integrations between various core, internal and external systems, consisting of file transfers, batch processes and Web Service calls. • Maintains and develop further on existing integrations. • Prepares documentation. • Implements program changes. • Tests programs for accuracy. • Communicates accurate task status to supervisor and peers. • Investigates and solves system problems, including off-hours calls. • Maintains working knowledge of the technological advances in the computer industry in general and Dollar Bank’s computer environment specifically. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • Graduate from an IT Technical school or college degree with concentration in Information Technology required. Will accept professional work experience in lieu of education. • Minimum 7 years of experience in a development or integration environment required. • Minimum 3 years of team leadership/mentorship or direct management experience • Clearly proven analytical and relevant programming skills, such as Python, .NET, with experience working with Web Services (REST, JSON and XML). • Clearly proven analytical and relevant cloud architecture skills. • AWS skills are a plus (specifically Step Functions, Lambda, DynamoDB and Amazon S3). • Experience in Microservice and Serverless Architecture are a plus • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, peers, users and management. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Candidate must be able to work under pressure and have proven ability to meet deadlines.
