Business Analyst

Location: Boardman, OH

Job Type: Contract


  • Participate in discovery sessions and requirements gathering process with customers, subject matter experts, and internal teams.
  • Document process flows to identify actors, inputs, outputs and dependencies; Interface with customers, operations, technology, vendors to define requirements, specifications, functionality and acceptance
  • Provide and promote internal communication between software development, project management, product management, and other functional groups
  • Conveys information clearly and effectively through both formal and informal documents and presentations


  • Experience with gathering functional requirements for Internal and Customer facing applications. (15 different applications all developed in house )
  • 2-5 years experience
  • Degree optional
  • Experience writing Functional requirements – analyst type work, develop specs, work with end users – finalize requirements
  • Strong problem-solver
  • Health care or Pharmacy background is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work effectively in team setting
  • Ability to juggle simultaneous small-to-medium size projects
  • Initial focus is on gathering requirements and documentation – main priority
  • Eventually will develop Unit testing plans – but that is down the road
  • Strong MS office Skills
  • Any salesforce or Cherwell experience is a plus
