Data Center Network Engineer
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Job Description: Looking for a Data Center Engineer with 5 years’ experience for an on-site contract position with our healthcare Client. Will support two sites main – Secaucus, NJ 07094 and Secondary – Manhattan, NY. Term is 6 months minimum, potentially longer. Valid CCNP is preferred but not required.
Position Details: • Hourly position based upon experience & skill level • At minimum 6 month contract with possible extension(s) or hire • Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm (OT as needed) • Location: will support two sites: main – Secaucus, NJ 07094 and several locations around Manhattan, NY • Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License & a dependable vehicle.
Required Previous experience: • Hands on experience in Enterprise Data Center for at least 5 years • Hands on experience with the ACI Policy orchestration including switch policies, interface policies, ANP,AEPs, Virtual, Physical and External Domains, Bridge Domains, EPG, Contracts, subjects and filters • Expert knowledge of Hyperconverged environment such as Cisco Hyperflex, UCS, Nutanix etc • Expert knowledge of Nexus 7K,5K,2k environment in the Data Center • Knowledge of common scale-out/high-performance storage systems, such as Isilon, NetApp, Pure etc • Knowledge of design and administration of virtual computing environments, such as VMware, Nutanix etc • Knowledge of design and administration of common backup/archival technologies, such as NetBackup, Cohesity etc
Preferred Experience: • Experience with Cloud Azure, AWS, GCP • Experience with monitoring and performance tools Riverbed Steel Central, Gigamon, WhatsUp Gold etc • Experience with Palo Alto Firewall and Cisco Fire Power • Working experience of ACI Multisite environment.

Education: • High School Diploma / GED equivalent • Preferred Bachelors in CIS, or equivalent education and work experience.
Supervisory Responsibility: • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
