Delivery Lead

Location: West Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The Delivery Lead reports to the VP, Information Technology and has a dotted line relationship to the Business Leadership of the assigned Division(s). The Delivery Lead is responsible for all aspects of technology for the assigned Division(s) which also includes the broader role of Vendor Management across all divisions. This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external technology providers to deliver solutions which enable the business. Requires a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to get into the details of operational inefficiencies, technical issues, and complex new client requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes operational standards for cost control, quality, complete and on-time delivery, as well as client and employee satisfaction
  • Works closely with business leadership in the development of a business strategy
  • Develops an underlying technology strategy and roadmap to enable the business strategy
  • Manages all nonfunctional requirements effectively (security, scalability, resiliency etc.)
  • Delivers incremental releases which implement the technology in support of the strategic plan with the development of information systems
  • Authorization and control over all information technology systems for Originations
  • Directs, develops and implements all Information Technology operations policies and procedures
  • Directs the design and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet the needs of the company
  • Maintains knowledge of developments in the area of technology advancements and legislation to assure that new developments are incorporated in future systems of the company
  • Coordinates and participates in the development of strategies for acquiring new clients
  • Fosters and maintains superior business relationships with clients
  • Communicates business plans and procedures to all staff management
  • Approves training curriculums and schedules
  • Participates in the selection of staff management with the Human Resources Department
  • Conducts salary reviews of staff
  • Acts as a leader within the company
  • Builds, coaches, mentors and develops organization and employees
  • All other duties assigned by VP, Technology

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with ten plus years related experience and/or training
  • 5+ Experience in Mortgage Technology (Default REO Title Close, Loan Modification, Deed In Lieu, Short Sale, Originations, Digital Technology, Valuations and/or Corporate Functions)
  • Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use PC and widely used software packages, e.g., spreadsheets/Excel, word processing/Word. Ability to learn new software packages as necessary
  • Ability to meet deadlines, budget, plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fifteen (15) years prior Information Systems experience
