Desktop Support Technician

We’re looking for a full-time, IT professional to join our team as a Desktop Support Technician. Qualified candidates should be self-motivated, team oriented, and possess a positive attitude. In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting end-users. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment.
Responsibilities • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide end-user support. • Hardware installations and new workstation setup. • Manage user accounts, profiles, and policies using Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Console. • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues. • Install and troubleshoot network printers. • Monitor ticketing system and respond to service requests in a timely fashion. • Assist with creating and maintaining IT related documentation. • Interface with third party vendors and managed service providers. • Perform project work and other special assignments as needed.
Qualifications • 2+ years of technical support/help desk experience. • Associates degree or higher preferred. • Experience with installing and maintaining software and PC’s. • Proficient in Windows OS, Mac OS experience is also preferred. • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Teams, and Sharepoint. • Understanding of basic networking protocols and connectivity. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
