Education Team Assistant

This position involves administrative work regarding the educational needs of the clients we advocate for.

Duties: Basic duties are opening and maintaining documents in electronic files. Sending and tracking correspondence. Requesting and following up on education records. Maintain excel spreadsheets that track the cases. Filling in and formatting some basic legal documents. Working with our database by updating fields and attaching documents. Participating in main phone coverage, etc.

Required Skills: Must have a good phone presence along with good communication skills. Must be reliable, good with technology, organized, attention to detail. Just looking for a strong candidate for a basic administrative position.

Company Information: After the temp period, our staff is eligible to earn $500 bonus per quarter based on their tasks. During the temp period, person will work onsite Mon – Fri (after the temp period, person can work 1 day remote each week).  The role is a newly created position. We have someone who created the job and we are now taking it off their plate for a full time person.  Phone coverage at the front desk is required, so we need someone willing and able to do that. Must be fully vaccinated. We have outstanding benefits, good opportunity for someone to possibly learn new tasks but we are a small agency- there will not be growth from one job to the next to the next. But, if someone is willing to learn and help, they will continue to learn in this job.
