ERP Application Developer

As an ERP Application Developer within our organization, you will be instrumental in helping to maintain our reputation for technology excellence in both business applications and new innovations. As an integral part of this team, you will formulate and define system requirements for complex system enhancement requests. You should be experienced in ERP application development methodologies, both at the API and database level following the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities include: • Analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, revising existing system requirements as necessary, implementation of changes and system testing. • As a thought leader and valued partner, you will interact with clients and service partners, internal and external, to coordinate the development, analysis, testing and implementation of requests for service and key business initiatives. • You will identify & summarize system & data considerations as business problems & project requirements are refined. • You will utilize planning and organizational skills to ensure the successful completion of projects to which you are assigned and apply functional expertise to facilitate the successful implementation and ongoing support of new and existing systems. You will continue to develop business and technical knowledge to prepare for more complex project assignments. In addition, you will apply your knowledge of business systems and industry requirements to provide a positive impact on, and help drive value for, our business units. • This position requires a strong degree of analytical and technical ability. You will be required to work closely with several business system applications: IFS, Salesforce, Boomi and Customer Portals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Participate in developing functional requirements for business systems; test, train and implement solutions • Learn to support Boomi iPaaS and Flow, apply new integration techniques • Review SQL statements and recommend tuning opportunities • Troubleshoot SSIS integrations and determine new integration opportunities • Perform complex problem solving • Review new system features and determine how they can be levered to increase productivity • Support day-to-day internal customer issues and activities to implement new or existing applications • Implement new business intelligence reporting and analytics solutions • Monitor the efficiency, effectiveness and feedback of application operations and troubleshoot problems • Assist business units in process improvement projects, identifying opportunities to improve business results through automation or simplification • Collaborate with CoE to establish standards and governance across the ERP landscape • Identify and document system constraints, implications, and consequences of proposed changes.

Requirements: The Ideal Candidate: Has 5+ years of experience as a software developer or similar role • Must have experience writing business requirements and design documents • Possess experience driving scope definition and assisting in implementations • Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Is proficient in writing SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL statements to create database API packages • Has experience developing ERP solutions and integrations, IFS ERP experience a plus • May also have experience with OLAP data cubes and data warehouses; BI reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar); Crystal Reports and SSRS reporting; Boomi, SSIS ETL or other ETL/iPaaS tool; Boomi Flow Experience Core Competencies: • WORK COLLABORATIVELY – Promote an inclusive and positive work environment that encourages collaboration and team building across all levels of the organization.
