IoT Product Specialist
Location: Charleroi, PA

This role will be instrumental in driving innovation with high quality intelligent solutions for the HVAC industry. The IoT Product Specialist will be part of our IT/OT shared service model and the subject matter expert of IoT technologies. In addition, the IoT Product Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including partners, senior management, customers, sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful results. This position will report directly to the CIO with a dotted line to the COO.
Responsibilities: • Guide the organization using partner solutions and architectures to achieve business targets. • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by our partners. • Articulate and define integration specifications between various partner products, systems and platforms. • Support product training including education and communication to relevant stakeholders including partners and customers. • Support the handover process including pilots and beta-versions. • Coordinate the technical installation by acting in between customers, partners, operations and sales. • On-site visits to troubleshoot problems. • This position will include occasional travel. • Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements: • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience and/or a combination of college and/or work experience in the field of IoT devices, Building Management Systems or SaaS products. • Hands-on experience leading projects in technology or software development • Basic coding skills, scripting, Log analysis is a plus.
Knowledge & Experience: • Experience with Embedded/IoT devices including protocols such as Wi-Fi and BLE • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities. • Strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills • Strong understanding of IoT technologies and their applications in commercial buildings. • Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to define, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions. • Manage and maintain the information systems, dashboards, and document repositories (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Teams etc.) that are used to store data and documents on project scope, schedule, cost, risks, and performance. • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills. • Strong documentation skills.

Work Conditions: • After hours availability dependent on need. • Sitting for extended periods of time. • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components. • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as ventilation components and electronic equipment.
