IT Help Desk Technician / Analyst

Job Purpose: You are an important member of the IT Team working together to ensure that we provide its customers with quality products and excellence in service. As part of this team, together with the IT Director, IT Team Supervisor, and Network System Administrator, your dedication enables us to be the market leader offering best in class products for window, door, and outdoor living products who, together with its partners shape living spaces that are environmentally friendly, energy efficient, comfortable, and safe. Your responsibilities encompass maintaining and configuring computer systems and service desk tickets. This position ensures that customers receive outstanding service and support.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and resolve service desk tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network. • Assist with basic hardware and software installs. • Assist in creation and maintenance of documentation for support solutions and processes. • Adept at working with changing technology and multi-tasking with limited supervision. • Participate with on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed. • Ensuring all security and operational controls are followed and enforced. • All other duties as assigned.
Skills: • Windows Server. • Windows 10+. • Active Directory, Windows Update, Exchange, Terminal Server/Remote Desktop Services. • Email/Office365. • Strong verbal communication skills • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to understand business objectives • Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization. • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to work with other IT department members to identify root problems and design solutions to resolve • Ability to handle multiple priorities through excellent time management and organizational skills. • Accountability, assertiveness, dependability, and responsiveness are essential.
Education: • Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required • Minimum of 1+ years in end user support. • Minimum of 1+ years in server and/or network support.
Organizational Relationship: • Reports to IT Team Supervisor
