IT SaaS Systems Administrator

YOUR MISSION: Your mission is to be a high-energy, motivated, and passionate SaaS Systems Administrator on our Corporate IT team. Your mission will be implementing and supporting SaaS-based solutions in a fast-paced and positive culture. In addition to being a reliable executor, you will be tasked with configuring and maintaining several cloud-based solutions including but not limited to Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, VMWare Horizon, and Office365.

YOUR LEGACY: The systems you implemented and maintained were the backbone of infrastructure, systems, and endpoint devices. In this role you lead technical implementations, maintained SaaS-based solutions, troubleshot technical issues, and supported many new and existing cloud-based solutions. You also partnered with other teammates in Corporate IT and across the company to enhance end user experiences and productivity. You regularly initiated, developed, and managed continuous IT improvement by developing processes and procedures while creating, maintaining and enhancing technical documentation. The result? WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: First 1 month: • Acclimate yourself with our existing IT environment and review our current configurations and SaaS-based solutions. • Review existing IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation that apply to our SaaS based solutions and Cloud-based implementations. 2-6 months: • Collaborate with the Director of Corporate IT, the Manager of IT, and other peers to create or enhance IT processes procedures, standards, and documentation. • Execute on any requested changes or improvements to our current SaaS-based solution or cloud-based implementations. • Participate in IT troubleshooting sessions • Lead new IT project initiatives. • Self-engage in diagnosing and correcting system related failures. • Perform system management activities to determine logical solutions to complex system and application related problems. • Participate in change management. Ongoing: • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple business partners to identify opportunities and drive engagement. • Deep understand of how to prioritize work tasks and stay organized. • Able to pivot quickly and adapt to change rapidly. • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills in a SaaS based environment • Perform day-to-day IT Systems and solutions maintenance of our existing tech stack • Maintain our internal Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools (Okta) and assist in the implementation of Active Directory. • Connect and integrate IT systems through the use of scripting. • Act as the technical IT liaison to other teams who are looking to integrate their tools with Corporate IT resources. • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow with appropriate stakeholders. • Independently identify opportunities for improvement across our IT organization • Lead change efforts and act as an senior IT resource for our service desk team. • Author technical documentation, knowledgebase articles, and IT procedures. • Collaborate with the IT Manager to evaluate potential new SaaS tools, processes, procedures, and solutions. • Create, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business resiliency plans. • Implement systems and desktop patches.

WHO YOU ARE: Industry Experience: • You have 3-5 years of experience in providing advanced IT support and troubleshooting in a complex, remote worker, and cloud-based computing environments. • A demonstrated strong work ethic. • 3-5 years’ experience supporting, managing, and maintaining enterprise IT architectures, SaaS-based solutions, and Cloud-based environments. Technical Skills Required: • Apple IOS and Microsoft Windows OS based end-user environments • 2+ years’ experience with Google Workspace administration • 2+ years of experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop) backend infrastructure administration. • 2+ years’ experience in Cloud-based Hypervisor environments that utilize VMWare. • 2+ years’ experience with OKTA • 2+ years’ experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • 2+ years’ experience with DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory • 2+ years’ experience with Office365 Administration • 2+ years’ experience with MDM solutions • 2+ years’ experience scripting knowledge and patch management. Other Skills: • You are a self-starter and don’t wait to be told what to do. You take the bull by the horns and bring potential solutions with you whenever you face a challenge • You have a strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset that helps you to proactively identify issues and recommend. Mitigate, or remediate issues. • You have experience working with 3rd party IT vendors and know how to drive projects to completion. • You possess excellent written and verbal skills • You are a multi-tasker. You are able to manage and organize lots of different workstreams with frequent interruptions while still keeping the ball rolling. Nice to have skills: • Linux experience • AzureAD experience • Cisco CCNA-related skills • ITSM and ITIL Certification • Industry Certifications from one or more of the following vendors: • VMWare • Microsoft • Google • Amazon

THE NITTY GRITTY: • Location = Great news! You have the option of working from anywhere in the U.S.! Successful candidates for this position must be located outside of California. It is also our expectation that all work for this position will be conducted outside of the state as well. • Manager = You’ll report to Director of Corporate IT • Compensation = Commensurate with experience for a company of our size • Benefits = We have awesome benefits!
