IT Support Specialist 1

Location: Canonsburg, PA

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The IT Support Specialist 1 position will provide level 1 technical support to company employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for end users in person, via phone or remote access
  • Provide timely resolutions directly or via defined escalation process
  • Support general hardware and software technical issues.
  • Maintain and repair computer and peripheral devices
  • New employee setup, deployment and onboarding
  • Maintain inventory of software licenses and hardware
  • Install and configure software on machines
  • Assist users with local user backup
  • Manage Windows security options and local vulnerabilities
  • Purchase and provision of IT supplies

Education & Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer service orientation; strong interpersonal skills
  • Skilled at resolving problems
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
