This individual will be responsible for on-going support of existing information security solutions as well as improving our security posture by aiding in the implementation of emerging solutions, security plans, security policies, vulnerability testing, and monitoring and investigating security breaches. This position will report directly to the CIO.

Responsibilities: • Identify security risks and operational needs. • Ensure systems are securely operated, maintained, and disposed. • Monitor environments for security breaches and attempted attacks. • Support of threat detection and response programs. • Aid in creating phishing campaigns for continued security awareness. • Provide training to end users on preferred security practices. • Perform system vulnerability scanning using approved software tools. • Provide cyber security focused KRI/KPI metrics. • Research, recommend, and implement new technologies or processes for enhancement of organization’s security posture. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or a minimum of 1+ years of related Information Security experience. • Any security certifications such as Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Security Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+, GISF, GIAC, SSCP, CCNA Security is a huge plus.

Knowledge & Experience: • Experience with software and security architectures. • Experience with Linux, AS400 and Windows Operating Systems. • Fundamental knowledge of protocols and standards, such as, SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S and Microsoft DNS. • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts and services, such as, SDWAN, VPNs, IPSec, PKI and TCP/IP. • Experience working within cloud environments, Microsoft Azure preferred. • Understanding of network protection technologies and Security best practices. • Hands on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and or Python.
