Level I/II Technician

Qualifications: • Special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for multiple users • Sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required • Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities: • Provide software and network support, training, and troubleshooting in a networked microcomputer environment • Microsoft stack (Office365, VMWare, Hyper-V, basic LAN/WAN technologies, MS Exchange and Active Directory to name a few) • Basic break fix and Microsoft tools • Acts as information technology support to the entire agency • Track and complete projects in a timely manner • Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software • Responds to software problems, investigates appropriate areas of a potential problem, and determines the resolution • Provides network support which includes installing networked application software, granting access to users, creating user groups, managing shared resources, and installing peripherals • Contacts software vendors to obtain specifications, pricing, and other purchase-related information • Trains users on basic computer use • Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency • Daylight, Monday-Friday hours
