Network Account Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh / Local Travel

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform & manage projects for servers, networks, cloud infrastructure & more
  • Engage with client as the “voice of the customer”
  • Design, install, troubleshoot, & maintain on-site and cloud infrastructure, network, server equipment, & other hardware & software
  • Communicate with clients to resolve problems, design infrastructure, assist with growth planning, and provide best practice analysis
  • Ensure client IT Security management with security team
  • Work with Customer Success Team to assist with formulating growth plans & recommend best practices for clients
  • Communicate with vendors & 3rd parties for clients
  • Perform and oversee software and application development, installation, and upgrades
  • Train clients to use hardware, software and other systems
  • Configure, maintain, monitor & back up servers & appliances
  • Provide technical support for customers – phone, remote and on-site
  • Provide emergency on-call service and support in rotating schedule with other colleagues

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year Associates Degree in Computer/IT field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a position with similar responsibilities of those required for this position
  • Client-focused with excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Must have experience with Microsoft 365 stack, Server 2008+, Microsoft Exchange 2010+, VMWare, Hyper-V, firewall and networking configuration, performing, and managing server, cloud, Microsoft 365 migrations, Microsoft 365 administration, VPN configuration
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, Teams, Cloud services administration, Autotask, Datto, Cisco Meraki
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • A registered vehicle and a valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to frequently bend/stoop, stand, reach, lift, and sit
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
