Plant Controller

Location: Hybrid - Cincinnati, OH

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

Role: Reporting to the Global Finance Director, you will be responsible for the overall financial support, financial reporting, and audit requirements, serving as a strategic business partner to division leadership.

Highlighted Responsibilities: Prepare all necessary month-end close duties, ensuring accounting principles and processes are in compliance with US GAAP regulations. Perform and document monthly review and reconciliation of Balance Sheets. Conduct routine month end reporting, variance analysis, and P&L review, and key quarterly financial tasks. Provide technical assistance to all teams in preparation and support of all audit requirements (internal and external). Support all annual financial requirements, including annual fixed asset review. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Monitor all activities to ensure compliance to all Corporate Standards and SOX requirements. Lead a team of direct report(s). Oversee invoicing in multiple currencies and understand the impact of foreign currency movements on key financial transactions, such as cross-border billings and AR revaluations. Collaborate with finance leads in other global regions and work effectively with global finance resources to provide required information. Identify areas for process standardization and optimization and lead the documentation/implementation of those initiatives. Lead the preparation of budget plans and internal forecasts and support the Global Finance Director in putting together the division budget/forecasts. Oversee the completion of monthly profitability reports and perform ad hoc cost/margin analysis. Prepare presentations and hold meetings with various business leaders as needed. Oversee AR, AP, capital, and other areas of financial activity. Other duties as assigned.

We’d love to hear from you if you have: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field. MBA and/or CMA/CPA designation preferred but not required. 5+ years of financial experience including managerial accounting. Experience managing teams and developing team members. Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft office products. Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical capabilities.
