Sales Manager

We are experiencing rapid growth and are investing in our sales team and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a “player/coach” – both leading the sales function and growing our market share in the Federal government market. You will be the primary voice of the customer within the Company team. Build relationships with both end users and prime contractors. • Responsible for consulting with internal and customers to provide technical expertise regarding the design, customization, implementation, and account management of Company products and services • Develop C level relationships with key Federal security decision makers • Lead the technical discussions in client meetings across multiple levels and disciplines to identify business and technical needs, issues, and priorities • Analyze customer mission, business, and technical challenges and requirements • Identify and qualify opportunities that can be delivered by our product portfolio • Prepare proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing • Work closely with the Program Management team to nurture customer relationships post order • Quickly investigate customer issues and escalate to other team members, if needed; troubleshoot problems relating to products and escalate to appropriate individual • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements: • Knowledge of budgeting, buying, and contracting processes for the Federal Government required • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent practical experience required • Ability to obtain security clearance required • 3 or more years of experience in a similar role • Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well independently and with a team • Exceptional presentation, and relationship-building skills • Comfortable operating independently • Travel between 25-50% • Remote locations are acceptable.
