SUMMARY: Provide planning, installation, administration, monitoring, maintenance, support and troubleshooting of various technology products. Troubleshoot and provide application support for all 3rd party application software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned: • Provide technical support for enterprise level applications including Dynamics Kronos, Metafile, VMWare, Jira and System Center. • Communicate with and solve problems to meet the needs of end users. • Train staff about the use of new and existing software from ERP systems. • Optimize relational database performance. • Safeguard the security and integrity of the database environment. • Understand, apply, and recommend database standards and procedures and propose ways to improve the database environment. • Participate in information gathering meetings with clients to determine client needs, business goals, and desired outcomes. • Solves problems, provides assistance to other departments, answers questions about technical functionality, and provides technical support for products. • Participate in large projects requiring analysis and design skills. • Assist manager with project management status, tasks, and deliverables. • Write user and technical documentation for new databases and keep documentation for implemented databases up to date. • Keeps current in the software field, and stays informed and aware of latest industry practices and developments in application support and software design.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in related field with a minimum of 5 years work experience. Microsoft MCSA certification or better preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Extensive experience in all aspects of database development and implementation. • Ability to interpret logical and physical database diagrams. • Research and keep current with database and software technology to improve development skills and use support. • Knowledgeable of programming languages and web and server-based database design. • Ability to provide software support for all Dynamics accounting system products. • Ability to organize, implement, and schedule regular end-user training for Microsoft Office software packages.
