A premier IT support services company is seeking a Senior Technology Support Specialist to join our team! You will resolve computer-related issues for our clients and help to develop new business, predominantly in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities:  Assess, support, design, install, troubleshoot, and maintain client IT environments. • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software. • Resolve issues for clients via phone, email, in person, or electronically. • Recommend hardware and software improvements. • Track customer issues and resolutions, ensuring that all client issues are resolved against service level agreements. This will include logging and tracking of service requests. • Enhance and update knowledge base for support and incident management. • Partner with IT teams, vendors, and clients to discuss and resolve incidents in a timely manner. • Proactively learn and educate peers on new products, services, and technical solutions within the organization and client sites.

Qualifications: • 3+ years previous experience in IT, customer service, implementing and configuring server-based environments. • Must possess a Microsoft MCSE Certification. • Ability to build rapport with clients. • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. • Positive and professional demeanor. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently, as well as with teams, and efficiently manage time. • Eligible to work in the United States. • Must have a valid driver’s license, have access to a vehicle, and be able to travel locally to and from client locations.

Requirements: • Expert knowledge of implementing and configuring business class networks. • Expert knowledge of Networks, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routers and ability to troubleshoot these devices. • VPN infrastructure design and administration (PTP, client based, Encrypted, IPsec) • Expert knowledge of newest versions of Microsoft Windows as well as Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1 Operating Systems. • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (current versions especially) • Expert knowledge of newest versions of Microsoft Windows Server as well as Microsoft Windows Server /2008/2012; Small Business Server /2008/2012; Exchange Server /2007/2010. • Advanced knowledge of Remote Management Systems/Software/Agents. • Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies from host to virtualized machine management and administration (Hyper-V; VMWare; Citrix, Xen). • Experience with onsite/offsite backup configurations as well as data restorations. Experience with SAN and NAS backup environments. • Expert knowledge of configuring Microsoft Outlook – RPC over HTTP, POP/IMAP, Exchange relay. • Knowledge of DNS and Domain Name management. • Knowledge of setting up and configuring wireless networks. • Knowledge of setting up and configuring printers in a network environment (Print Server management, LDAP integration, Remote Access Security and Administration, User Login Scripting). • Knowledge of installing and configuring Enterprise level anti-virus software. • Basic knowledge of mobile device management. • Basic knowledge of HTLM, PHP, ASP. • A+, Network+, Security+ certification desirable, but not required if work experience is comparable (via a skills assessment review). • Ability to read and understand all company marketing and promotional materials as they relate to the delivery of products and services.
