OVERVIEW: Implements and operationalizes TBM frameworks and tools and executes processes that will allow us to evaluate the cost, value, and quality of technology related investments. Conducts data analysis & presents data, insights, and recommendations in a transparent and actionable manner, that will enable our leaders to make informed decisions and drive operational excellence. Utilizes technical experience with APPTIO to design, implement, and deliver reports within the TBM Apptio system.

Role Responsibilities: Technology Business Management (TBM) Data Collection and Analysis Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends, and the identification of cost optimization opportunities Financial Modeling Provide financial modeling input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business. Insights and Reporting Utilizing your Apptio experience — Design, build, configure, run, and distribute various data and analytics reports, and create, present, and communicate data and analytics insights. Technology Business Management (TBM) Administration Track and manage data source delivery timeframes to ensure data loading and month end process schedule is not delayed. Review completeness of data provided and work with data owners to rectify any data issues for any given month. Collaborate with data source owners for ongoing data quality improvements. Identify and configure data automation via DataLink where applicable Implement system integrations and interfaces as needed.

Data Management – Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.

Process Automation – Analyze business processes and develop software tools that automate routine tasks through existing user interfaces. Create smart workflows, integrating tasks performed by humans and machines. Design and Conceptualization Own work to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions.

Technical Documentation and Training – Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard. Conduct user training and coaching as required.

Change Management – Act as a team member supporting a change initiative by providing analysis or monitoring progress with guidance from a product/program manager. Continuous Improvement Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas.

Business Requirements Identification – Collect business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.

Business Case – Manage or support the delivery of feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current programs to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases.

Analysis of Current vs. Future State – Support and contribute to the documentation of Current vs. Future state processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the future capability to record accurately the change required.

Building Capability – Supports the build out and improvement of capabilities within a significant functional area of the business.

Ongoing Learning and Development – Develop own and more junior team member capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

QUALIFICATIONS: 2 or more years experience with the APPTIO system — designing, configuring, and implementing cost allocation logic and TBM reports Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level 3 to 6 years of relevant experience 0 to 3 months managerial experience Strong financial aptitude TBM and/or Apptio Certification a plus! Retail Experience a plus
