Senior TBM Value Analyst

The Technology Business Management (TBM) team is a new servant leader organization that seeks to enable leadership to measure, manage, optimize, and communicate the value of Technology to the Enterprise. The Sr TBM Value Analyst will establish and execute various TBM Capabilities, implement and operationalize frameworks and tools that will allow us to evaluate the cost, value, and quality of technology related investments. By presenting the data in a transparent and actionable manner, we will allow our Technology and Business partners to collaborate and quickly decide on technology investment opportunities. The Sr TBM Value Analyst will provide insights and recommendations that will enable our leaders to make informed decisions and drive operational excellence. TBM Build Out, Execution and Operations Align and support the TBM Vision, Mission, and Strategy Support the definition of the TBM organizational capabilities, services, deliverables, and engagement model.
Duties & Responsibilities: Contribute to and support a TBM organizational operational roadmap and backlog. Create total cost of ownership and cost allocation models. Create and maintain mechanisms to monitor run the business spend vs value to identify cost optimization savings opportunities. Drive insights to clearly articulate the value being realized by our operationalized technology investments. Provide data and enable practices that provide transparent and actionable insights and recommendations to Technology and Business senior leadership. Be a key contributor to a value realization office that leverages TBM insights to inform technology portfolio decisions. Build and support improved processes for managing and reporting on Tech Organization open positions. Partner with the Tech Finance team to ensure appropriate labor, hardware, software, licenses, and service costs, as well as contractual considerations, are integrated into the TBM tool(s), models, and recommendations. Act as a change agent and evangelize the value realized when TBM is successfully integrated into the Technology Organization and broader enterprise portfolio management. Build partnerships with PPM, HR, Finance, Procurement, Tech Leadership, and Business Partners Tooling (Selection, Implementation, and Operations) Research, implement, and learn TBM Tooling Integrate other systems and data sources with TBM tools. Create TBM dashboards and reporting. Implement practices to provide / automate TBM data views and insights for Tech leaders and stakeholders. Serve as coach and partner with portfolios to determine how to optimize investment and integrate with TBM tools Support the definition of TBM data quality and governance standards. Learning: Actively engage in self-learning and looks to grow skillsets and experience in the business, TBM and Financial practices, Agile practices, Project & Program Management , Change Management, and Retail Commerce functions. Research and learn IT industry drivers, trends, and technologies to drive innovation in the TBM space. Learn new technologies and best practices being used within other technology organizations. Support Continuous Learning activities focused around Lessons Learned and Feedback. Consolidation: Share knowledge with peers and foster collaboration with team members to drive consistency across teams. Participate in and contribute to learning activities around tech delivery practices (communities of practice).
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field and 7+ years of relevant experience. 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in Technology Business Management, driving insights through data and analytics, implementing and/or managing tools that manage large data sets, experience with digital transformation, strong financial management background. Retail experience a plus. Plus 10 years of relevant experience in Degree field. TBM certification a plus. Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. Experience identifying and linking multiple sources of data to tell a compelling story. Experience with Lean Product, Agile, and DevOps methodologies. Proven ability to develop strong collaborative partnerships with Tech and Business stakeholders. Experience with TBM and/or other reporting tools (Apptio, etc.). Experience supporting strategic initiatives. Experience developing, tracking, and actioning KPI’s / Metrics. Experience with organizational change management frameworks and execution. Knowledge of FinOps, asset management, and procurement/vendor analytics is a plus. Solid project management skills. Knowledge of Technology portfolio and program Management. Strong written & verbal communication skills. Individual must be extremely organized and has proven ability to support multiple initiatives in parallel. Strong learning agility and experience working through ambiguity. Retail experience preferred. Strong Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Microsoft Teams, Excel, Powerpoint). Data and System integration experience.
