Software Engineer II – Sales Tax (Backend Engineer)

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent. Preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience .NET core; REST API development required Linux/windows experience in installation, services, batch scripts required SQL server scripting (CRUD), SQL package, and troubleshooting for SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle required. Attention to detail; follows through; team player; good communicator required.
PREFERRED: Kafka RabbitMQ Docker; Kubernetes, GitHub and Pipeline deployment via GitHub. Actions REST API testing – Postman, Cypress, SOAP UI Load Testing – JMeter Monitoring tools – Grafana, Prometheus Batch scheduler – Control-M jobs. Understands F5 load balancer and firewalls. Vertex O’Series System installation & configuration. Working w/ Vendor vertex support Jira, Confluence.
