Sr Integration Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The Senior IA will be working with vendors and data sets that are new. Hence, the day to day tasks consist of (but are not limited to) vendor management, as well as data analysis, mapping & resolving data quality issues specifically in the health/benefits industry.

Responsibilities • Own vendor management & data negotiation during the implementation of a client’s data sources. • Review and analyze data sources for inconsistencies. • Research and provide resolutions to data discrepancies. • Review and validate vendor data structure based on contracted standards. • Continuously monitor data for timeliness and integrity. • Build data profiles that both ensure proper integration into the platform and facilitate robust reporting. • Owner of various projects with the objective of addressing process gaps and improving data quality. • Participate in and coordinate meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience. • 4+ years of experience with healthcare, health insurance, and/or employee benefits required. • 2+ years of experience with data analysis • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce high quality deliverables. • Experience interpreting data analytically • Capable of managing simultaneous projects and coordinating cross-project activities. • Able to plan work, proactively identify issues, propose solutions, balance competing priorities, and accomplish goals on schedule. • Shows curiosity and an ability to learn quickly, especially new technology and processes. • Willing to assist team members in the development of new processes as well as drive continuous improvement • Approaches all work with a team-based/collaborative orientation.

Bonus Points – in addition to the Qualifications above: • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. • Entrepreneurial spirit • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts. • Experience working with medical and/or Rx claims, enrollment, and other benefit or risk data. • R, Python, other programming languages. • Experience with data mining, predictive modeling, optimization, machine learning.
