We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Software Development team.

Position Description: If you have a passion for engineering quality software, we are interested in you. We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer that will work with our team to achieve fantastic results. As a contributor within the research and development (R&D) team, you will a work in a collaborative and highly skilled Agile team. Our software is an enterprise class solution that manages pharmacy workflow activities and increases revenue into pharmacies. You will work with the current Configuration Management Team, Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Software Architects, Hosting, and Infrastructure team members to develop resilient build systems. You will be front and center of driving our DevOps initiatives to completion. You must have strong, fundamental work management skills and passion with the social ability to adapt to the needs of the individuals with whom you will interact. Minimum Requirements: • 6+ years’ experience in Software Engineering Tools and Technologies desired: Docker; Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence); Ansible; Terraform; Cloud Technologies (Azure); Veracode; Artifactory; Jenkins; Git; Scripting language(s).

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Energetic, passionate, and creative technical leader who values people, relationships, performance while positively contributing to building a great culture • Experience working in a commercial software development team • Experience with automating software development processes. • DevOps and Configuration Management experience with systems hosted in the cloud. • Proven ability to drive activities to closure while pursuing excellence. • Respects, then questions the status quo looking for opportunities to continually improve. • Innovative mindset that seeks to exceed expectations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Technical Lead experience • Mentoring experience. Mentor and lead less seasoned team members. • Experience leading a team or significant initiative with the organization • Comfortable presenting to customer, large audience, or senior leadership. Communicating complex topics to a diverse audience. • Self-driven, someone who is not told what to do. A technical strategist and not just a doer • Someone who is well read, explores new technologies, evaluates them using side projects and recommends tools to be included in the pipeline. • Challenges the status quo and strives for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: • Learn our current processes and technologies that we leverage for Configuration Management. • Understanding the retail pharmacy and clinical services domain and learning how customers use our products to manage their business. • Conduct a system analysis to assess where investment is needed to improve the speed and resiliency of our build and deployment systems. • Develop and execute plans for rolling out new technologies rapidly. • Improve build and deployment process. • Develop change management and release management solutions. • Work closely with software development team to build scalable solutions. • Develop new automation and administration tools. • Mentor and lead less seasoned team members. • Communicating complex topics to a diverse audience. • Championing continuous improvement and promoting best practices across teams. • Work closely with software development team to build scalable solutions. • Develop and execute plans for rolling out new technologies rapidly. • Improve build and deployment process. • Recommend value adds to our CI pipeline • Develop new automation and administration tools. • Championing continuous improvement and promoting best practices across teams.
