We are looking for a driven Ruby on Rails developer who will be responsible for developing web applications. We work with a variety of technologies based on the needs of our clients, so in addition to Ruby on Rail experience with Python, React, and Angular are a big plus.

AS A SENIOR ENGINEER, YOU CAN EXPECT TO: • Work with other NextLink engineers to write reusable, testable, efficient code • Communicate directly with clients to discuss feature development • Work in an agile team environment with weekly standups to build new features • Engage in code reviews of your teammates’ work.

EXCELLENT CANDIDATES WILL HAVE MOST OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: • Demonstrated experience with Ruby on Rails and associated tooling • Strong communication skills Experience with being a part of an agile team • Ability to create estimates during feature development • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application • Strong unit-testing and debugging abilities. Proficient understanding of version control systems (Git) • (BONUS) Experienced with DevOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
