Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst will be part of the talented software team that work on core banking applications while providing expertise in the full software development cycle, from concept to design to testing. This individual should have experience in designing, developing and maintaining high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

Primary Success Factors • Works independently and in a team environment to understand business requirements, design technical solutions and implement applications. Also, expected to adhere to the SDLC and create project deliverables as required. As a seasoned technical resource, this role is sought out for the medium- to high-complexity and moderate risk projects that align with the skill set. • Analyzes and authors user requirements. Evaluates procedures and identifies problems to develop automated solutions in new or existing applications. Regarded as a key resource for certain business processes. • Provides task/project estimates to aid in the project planning process. • Works closely with project managers, other team members and external resources in the development and support of applications. Ability to communicate well with both business users and highly technical resources. • Participates in application code review sessions. • Applies application development skills to assist the group in completing projects. • Performs unit testing and support of quality assurance and user acceptance testing. • Creates technical documentation. • Provides level one support for certain applications in the production environment by responding to end user questions and issues. • Ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations.

Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Five or more years of relevant work experience • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Rest API, Collabnet Subversion, Spring Tool Suite, MyEclipse, Maven and PL/SQL skills required • Experience with Containers/Kubernetes, Jenkins/Nexus, Selenium and OWASP top 10 knowledge preferred • Works independently to understand business requirements, design technical solutions and implement applications • Ability to analyze user requirements, procedures and problems • Good communication skills with end users and highly technical resources • Ability to create technical documentation *Eligible for $2,000 Finders Keepers award.
