Talent Acquisition Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:  The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) partners with the Director, Global Talent Acquisition on the recruitment strategy and provides full life cycle recruitment to ensure we have the talent needed to achieve its mission. You will own and drive the Talent Acquisition Process to ensure that the best qualified candidates are hired and provide support to the hiring managers to efficiently fill job openings with internal and external talent. The TAS supports college recruiting efforts and the Employee Referral Program, along with building third party vendor relationships. You will focus on assigned business areas and provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment process and interviewing practices. You are a partner and an owner of the business groups you support.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Meets with hiring manager to develop recruitment plans and completes valid requirements for job openings. Conducts resume and phone screens, leads pre meetings for on-site interviews, schedules on site interviews with hiring managers, interviews applicants, and gathers information regarding education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements. Conducts debrief meetings with hiring manager and interview team at the conclusion of the on-site interview. • Use our internal Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn, social media, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions. • Manages open positions and applicant tracking system, external posting’s, coordinates scheduling, generates reports, and prepares offers. • Develop relationships with third party recruiting agencies, community job placement services, and colleges to source qualified candidates. Provides information on the company, its policies, benefits and available opportunities to agencies, colleges, and prospects. • Administers the Employee Referral Program and Conducts training on Behavioral Interviewing Techniques.

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree, HR or related field required.

CERTIFICATIONS:  CIR Preferred • CDR Preferred

EXPERIENCE:  5 + years of Full Cycle Technical Recruiting • 5 + years of experience as a member of a human resources team or agency recruiter. • Thorough knowledge of Behavioral Interviewing. • Fluency in using an applicant tracking systems and online sourcing networks. • Proven experience in interviewing assessing and selecting exceptional talent.
