Technical Product Manager

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

As a Product Manager, you will fill a critical role in defining, prioritizing and optimizing, the development and launch of projects aligned with product strategy. You will use the Agile process to build sprints, plan releases, and write release notes. Working closely with Sales & Marketing, Software Developers, Data Engineers, Director of Partner Analytics consultants, and Subject Matter Experts, you will document work requirements, schedule the work, assist in deploying the project, and track performance post launch.

Responsibilities · Using the Agile process, schedule work in 2-week sprints for the engineering teams. · Plan and facilitate system release for fix bugs to launch new features / functionality. · Proactively meet both Sales/Marketing to research, capture, and document the business requirements associated with the market demand. · Perform project review sessions with stakeholders to manage all phases of the product life cycle. · Assist in conducting quality assurance testing and review. · Approve the product feature / functionality for release into production based on criteria defined during project inception.

Qualifications · A software product management degree or equivalent certifications or job experience managing projects, products or portfolios of products. · Minimum 2 of years of experience in technical project management · Minimum of 2 years experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment. · Experience in healthcare, health insurance and/or employee benefits is preferred but not required. · Capable of managing simultaneous projects and coordinating cross-project activities. · Able to plan work, proactively identify issues, propose solutions, balance competing priorities, and accomplish goals on schedule. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce high quality deliverables. · Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. · Familiarity with SQL and database concepts. · Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, especially new technology and processes. · Approaches all work with a team-based/collaborative orientation.
