JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Recruiter partners with the Director, Global Talent Acquisition on the technical recruitment strategy for us and provides full life cycle recruitment to ensure we have the talent needed to achieve its mission. You will own and drive the Talent Acquisition Process to ensure that the best qualified candidate is hired and provides support to the hiring managers to efficiently fill job openings with internal and external talent. You will support college recruiting efforts and the Employee Referral Program, along with third party vendor relationships. It is imperative that you build internal relationships to focus on the assigned technical business areas and provides guidance to hiring managers in best recruitment and interviewing practices.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role you will lead the full lifecycle recruiting for Development, IT and other technical roles for direct hire and contract-to-hire openings. It will involve meeting with hiring manager to develop recruitment plans and creating valid requirements for job openings. You will be responsible to conduct resume and phone screens, facilitates technical assessments, leads pre meetings for onsite interviews, schedules interviews with hiring managers, interviews applicants so that you can gather information regarding education, experience, training, job skills, and salary requirements. You will lead debrief meetings with hiring manager and interview team at the conclusion of the onsite interview. Use our internal Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn, Social Media, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions. Use creative sources to identify and attract top technical talent. Provide a high-touch experience and promotes company brand in a positive light. Manage open positions and applicant tracking system, prepares offers, coordinates, and generates open positions and headcount reports. The requisition load should average around 15-20. Grow our relationships with already established third party recruiting agencies, community job placement services, and colleges to source qualified candidates. Provides information on the company, its policies, and benefits. Maintain and build relationships with new agencies, colleges and prospects. Administers the Employee Referral Program and Conducts training on Behavioral Interviewing Techniques.
EDUCATION • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, IT or relevant field required. • Professional in HR (PHR/SPHR), Strategic Talent Acquisition (STA), or other related certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS • 5+ years of Full Cycle Technical Recruiting, including the use of social recruiting platforms, job boards, passive sourcing techniques advanced sourcing methodology • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles • Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral interviewing • Proven experience in interviewing assessing and selecting exceptional technical talent • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation • Experience working in a corporate (non-staffing agency) recruiting environment • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization • Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs • Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner. • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view. • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
