Visual Designer / Graphic Designer
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Duties: Will be doing design work in Adobe Suite. Doing website design in WordPress and managing basic website. Changing out banners, updating links, and doing PDF postings.

The Visual Designer reports to the Marketing Directors and is responsible for cross-platform collaborative marketing programs including, but not limited to: print collateral, web graphics/campaigns, website management, social media management, and any additional duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Communicate effectively and professionally in person, over the phone, and in writing with agents, carriers, colleagues, and supervisors. Attend staff meetings, trade shows, and industry training seminars as needed. Appropriately track and prioritize work assignments, productivity, and issue resolution. Perform tasks and duties within deadlines given. Work with Director and Marketing teams to design and manage promotional messaging that supports. on-going marketing campaigns. Work closely with the Compliance Officer to maintain and ensure the compliance of posted material. Maintain websites through day to day updates, and by working with each division to manage scheduling and tailoring of content according to marketing initiatives. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues quickly. Research and apply search engine optimization (SEO) needs for our organization. Social media campaigns and maintenance. Manage company branding collateral (web, graphics, print, display, etc.). Work directly with clients to design and market promotional materials available and other resources. Create cross-platform campaigns for projects as needed.
Other Duties: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technology, industry standard practices, and trends. Basic copywriting. Provide photography services including ideas/inspiration, art direction, taking shots, and editing. Video editing as needed. Illustration when needed.
Qualifications: Graphic and web design experience HTML coding and CSS familiarity Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Marketing experience. Strong visual sense of layout, color, typography, and style. Eye for detail. Compliant practices. MS Office and General PC skills. Commitment to high standards in program quality. Critical Thinking. Demonstrated ability to plan and organize. Flexibility to adapt to changing business operations. Problem solving and issue resolution. Quality, accuracy, efficiency. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to represent the company in a professional and positive manner. Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast paced environment.
